Established in July of 2020, Science Policy Network- Detroit is a group that aims to bridge the gap between policy makers, scientists, and the public at large. 

We are a branch of a larger network of science policy groups at other universities. Collectively we make up the National Science Policy Network. 

Our goal is to advocate science-policy in the City of Detroit to better the lives of its citizens and make the regular public more informed about issues in their communities.

By bringing together the community and experts in the fields of science and policy makers, we can bring great advances to Detroit.
